Okay, Shoot! It happened! I've lost the darn door key. The door/entrance/entryway is solid as a brick. Of course, it could not happen at a less convenient moment.
I wonder if there's a way in... maybe I could climb through a window/pry open a loose pane/sneak past the dog. Nah, that's too risky/dangerous/outlandish. Looks like I'm going to have to call my neighbor/wait for my roommate/ask for help from the landlord. This is so frustrating.
I swear, next time I buy a spare key/hide a key somewhere safe/install a smart lock.
Lost Your Car Keys? No Sweat!
Losing your car keys can be a totally frustrating experience. It happens to the smartest of us! But before you freak out, take a moment and attempt these steps.
First, go back over your actions from the past few hours. Think about where you've been and what you've touched. Maybe they're in a strange place than usual. Check your purse thoroughly, as well as any counters you might have placed them on.
If you still can't find them, it might be time to call a trusted neighbor. They may have seen your keys or could help you search for them.
Lastly, if all else fails, don't stress. You can always reach out a locksmith to make you a new set of keys. It might be an extra price, but it's absolutely better than being stuck without your car!
